High School
Our Elementary consists of full day Kindergarten through Grade 6. In our 13 multi-age classrooms, teachers create vibrant worlds of ideas and interaction. With students ranging from five to twelve years old, these rooms hold an extraordinary breadth of intellectual and social growth.
At Paideia, the middle school consists of seventh and eighth grades where students are supported as they explore their autonomy and encouraged to realize that learning is a lifelong adventure. Paideia’s approach to early adolescence is one that combines close and sustained contact and support from teachers and where students' independence, individual responsibility, and a range of choices are nurtured through experiential learning.
In our upper school, we provide an academically rigorous and collaborative environment for students to take risks in learning across science, mathematics, the humanities, the arts, and a modern language. Our faculty gets to know each student personally, helping them identify their learning strengths and build an approach that carries them through high school and beyond.
In 2026, Paideia students received significant recognition across the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards, the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition for creative teens, including 24 Gold Keys, 28 Silver Keys, and 36 Honorable Mentions. Paideia's class of 2026 saw 113 graduates accepted to 243 colleges and universities, enrolling in 65 distinct schools.

Now Open: Paideia's Premier Athletic Complex
Built in 1999, Python Park has been home to our softball, baseball, soccer and ultimate frisbee student-athletes. Now, we’re transforming it into a premier facility that will elevate the game-day experience for players and spectators alike.
The renovation includes two new turfed fields for soccer and ultimate, a turfed infield for baseball, a 750-seat bleacher system and expanded parking for greater accessibility.
The brand-new fieldhouse now provides locker rooms, a training room, restrooms and a concessions area, creating a hub for athletes and fans. Additionally, a dedicated display area celebrates team achievements and showcases trophies from our baseball, soccer and ultimate teams.
To top it all off, improved spectator viewing areas around the baseball diamond now enhance the experience for fans cheering on our Pythons.
Renovations are officially complete at Python Park, Paideia’s 12-acre athletic complex in Avondale Estates!
Half Day
Students ages 3-5 enroll in our Half Day program, which consists of a morning or afternoon class. Our multiage preschool and half day kindergarten classrooms, including an art room, block room, and outdoor playground, support children in building social, emotional, and academic foundations through hands-on exploration. With a 6:1 student-teacher ratio and individualized reading plans, each child develops skills in phonemic awareness, early literacy, math, and creative thinking. Parents are a welcomed presence in the classroom, reading, creating, and sharing in their child's early learning.
